Monday, June 16th,
I found myself boarding a boat in Brooklyn heading out for a Bat Mitzvah reception party. Slowly people clambered on and after a few
minutes we set off. Soon after we left the dock, we were hit by
waves, not massive waves, but big enough that people looked like they
were under the influence when they tried walking. It stayed this way
until we passed under the Verrazano Bridge where we were sheltered from the
ocean by Brooklyn.
